Northern Arizona University New Lab Facility, Flagstaff, AZ
This project consists of the demolition of an existing 20,000
square foot building and the construction of a new $33 million laboratory
facility. This new state of the art teaching and research lab will
utilize a program and design process initiated and administered
by IDEO, a contemporary think tank. The building will integrate
the historical district of north campus with what will become NAU’s
Science Complex, a gateway from the past to the future.
The project delivery method for this project is Construction Management
at Risk (CMAR) and will seek LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental
Design) certification.
