New Laboratory Facility
Northern Arizona University • Flagstaff, AZ
This project, completed in collaboration with Holder Construction, entailed demolishing an existing 20,000-square-foot building and constructing a new, $36 million laboratory facility. This new state-of-the-art teaching and research lab applies a program-and-design process initiated and administered by IDEO, a contemporary think tank. The building integrates the historical district of north campus with what will become NAU’s Science Complex — a gateway from the past to the future.
Size: 95,000 square feet
