Verde Valley Transit Facility

This project consists of developing a new transit facility for NAIPTA. KCS is constructing a single-story Administration and Transit Operations Center; a bus-wash pad; a 927-square-foot garage maintenance bay; a 13,500-square-foot shade structure for up to 10 vehicles, with room for expansion; and a 5,880-square-yard asphalted concrete parking lot. In addition to serving as design-builder, KCS is self-performing all earthwork and installing site utilities.
The project is funded through a partnership between NAIPTA, the Federal Transportation Authority, the Arizona Department of Transportation, and the cities of Cottonwood and Sedona.
