This project consists of a new, two-story, LEED Platinum building and associated site work on the Museum of Northern Arizona campus off Highway 180. This building will hold collections, as well administration and processing facilities, for the 80-year-old museum. The building will be a masonry-and-steel construction with a “living” green, sloped roof. The exterior will be plaster-over-insulation on top of the masonry structure, along with natural stone. The interior will consist of metal studs, gypsum board, and ACT. There are standard HVAC, plumbing, fire sprinkler, and electrical systems throughout with elements of LEED design.
